When cancer entered my life on March 12, 1998, it tried to take everything. It took my natural eye - now replaced with a prosthetic that sees the world through a lens of gratitude. It damaged my hearing - now aided by devices that remind me daily to listen more carefully to what truly matters.
But cancer couldn't take my faith. It couldn't take my purpose. Like Daniel, I was thrown into the lion's den. And like Daniel, God shut the mouths of every lion that tried to devour me.
"Daniel and the Lion" was born from this testimony.
